It's only two days until Kinect arrives and I begin my quest to lose weight with Your Shape Fitness Evolved
. I've been thinking more about what my goals will be and preparing for my Thursday morning weigh in. I'm hoping I can turn this into a lifestyle change that will stay with me and since my ultimate goal is more than 30 lbs this will get me on the right track.
I don't want to set an actual deadline for the first 30 lbs, but I'm hoping I'll at least have a good chunk of it down before we leave for Disney World in January. Since the trip is in a little over 8 weeks that would only mean 3 lbs a week which doesn't seem like an unrealistic goal, but I guess we'll see.
In addition to the exercise I plan to start eating better...which means less McDonalds :( I'll also be taking occasional walks in order to be ready for the several miles a day that I'll be walking at Disney World.
Anyway, that's the plan and I'm always up for encouragement as I'm working toward my goal.
