It's now less than 2 months before the Nov. 1st launch of the Xbox 360. The price of the console itself isn't any more than usual, but the games are now going to retail for $59.99.
As long as i've been buying video games, they've been around $49.99 at release. So, as a buyer i'm of course happy that it's taken this long to raise the price.
But, games are costing so much more to make these days. The cost of a Next Generation product is estimated in the 20+ million range... that's a ton of cash.
So, of course i don't want to pay an extra $10 for a game...but this raise was a long time coming.
