A buddy from work has a small get together at his place each Halloween so we can eat pizza and then take the kids out in their nice new neighborhood for bags full of candy.
The evening started out with a neighborhood "parade" which had all of the kids line up and then march down a few of the streets while residents sat out on their lawns to watch.  This was pretty neat for the kids and they had a great time.
The first awesome costume I have to mention is my son's...not because of anything we did but because of how many comments people made about it.  The fact that there is even a Ghostbusters costume available to purchase is further proof that we try to re-live our childhoods when we get older :)
The winner of costume of the day was the kid shown above...which he says hemade himself.
