Since Red Faction: Armageddon was being shown on the public show floor as well as in the THQ business center, this meant we needed two of us at each location.  On days 2 and 3, Eric and I took the Business Center location and it we had quite a different setup here.

Instead of filling a room with 80 people and standing room only, we brought in press that had appointments scheduled and did one demonstration an hour.  We had seats for everyone and headphones so when I spoke into the microphone they could all hear everything clearly.

I started off with a brief intro to the Red Faction universe and described where in the story the demo for Armageddon takes place.  Then after talking through the demo as Eric ran the controller, I opened things up for Q&A.  It was interesting how the questions with each group were almost identical, but I got thrown the occasional curve ball that is always fun to answer.

We announced Red Faction Battlegrounds a day before Gamescom began, so we then loaded it up and showed off some 4-player action. It was very well received and is a great way to help build awareness for the Red Faction brand.

I ended up doing quite a few interviews after the demos which are always fun and a great way to get people as excited for our game as we are.
