I mentioned in a previous post that I've started a weekly Disney movie night to help build excitement heading toward our next Disney World trip.  It's been going really well so far and my son loves it so much that he keeps trying to get more nights added to each week.  The popcorn and candy are a nice touch, not to mention we watch on a 52" Sony LCD and Onkyo 7.1 surround sound :)

One of the motivations behind which movies we picked weekly is so Kian is ensured to see the movies behind all of the rides and shows he'll see...not to mention some of the more obscure characters he may run into.  But, in order keep his interest level high we also have to be careful that we mix in his favorites often enough.

This week's movie is Aladdin, soon on blu-ray, which I believe was the major turning point for Disney animated features.

On our 2007 Disney World trip, Kian had a blast seeing Aladdin and Jasmin at Disney's Hollywood Studios. At the Magic Kingdom, he loved riding the Magic Carpets and Tiki Room.
