We had a very peaceful Christmas at our house. This is the first once since we've been married that we haven't had family visit...and while it was a bummer to not see anyone, it was also very relaxing.

We were able to start establishing our traditions with our 3 year old son, like Baking cookies on Christmas Eve for Santa, reading the "Night Before Christmas" before bed, etc. This is the first year that Kian totally "gets" Christmas. He's been so excited all month for Santa to come and has done little else but talk about him. We have an Advent calendar and Santa put a piece of chocolate for him behind each daily door, so this whole month has been pretty exciting for him.
Santa brought him his first computer (that hooks up to the TV) along with too many toys to mention so he's pretty excited right now.

Anywho, the holiday has been a pretty good one and I can't complain :) I got the new Warhammer Tool Kit so maybe I'll finally get around to assembling the rest of my Wood Elf army.
