Being a fan of magic, i was pretty excited when not one...but two movies about magic came out this past year.
I talked with various people before seeing them and most everyone I talked to said the Prestige was better. Well, for my wife and I, we thought The Illusionist was a much better movie...so I'm trying to figure out why.
People that I talked to said that they figured out the ending to The Illusionist right away, but that's how we felt about The Prestige.
The thought that I wonder about the most is: Which movie did everyone see first? Since we watched The Illusionist first, did it set the bar and then The Prestige just felt sub par?
I saw Prestige first. I haven't seen Illusionist yet but plan on renting it tonight. I'll get back here after it to let you know which way I went. I wasn't very impressed with the Prestige. I am hoping Illusionist will have more to offer.
BTW: I found your blog by searching for game related blogs and forums where I could post this link so I could download their freeware and abandonware games.
