Buying a house is the first time we've moved that we didn't have to do it all in like 3 days.

Our last move was by far the easiest...since we were able to hire movers to do all the packing and moving. But this time, we're able to take the entire month to pack things gradually that we don't need immediately and move them into a storage unit near the new place.

It's also nice that I have some friends in town that are willing to lend me their backs on the last week of the move. We close on the 28th, and I'll be off for 7 days to get all the moving and settling in done.
