No Country for Old Men

I was captivated throughout the film...but then felt like I had no closure at the end.

I need to see it again because the last few scenes aren't clear to me at all.

I'm trying to figure out if Ed Tom dreamed the whole thing...
I've been playing through COD4 lately and none of my Achievements pop up as I get them.

I don't know if it's normal for the game, of if my son has somehow disabled achievement notification.

Anyone know?

Warhammer Legendary Battle!

The new White Dwarf has rules for Legendary Battles...that are multi-player at 5000pts or more per side of the table.

Me and Greg are arranging a battle vs Josh and Aaron with 10,000pts per side (5000pts per player) and I'm pretty stoked. Before now, my largest battle was 3000pts...in which my wood elves whomped Josh's Ogres.

Now, i get to combine my Wood Elves and Bretonnians and join forces with Greg's Dwarves and Dark Elves. Aaron is fielding Chaos and Vampire Counts along with Josh's Empire and Ogres.

Should be a blast...and will probably take 8+ hours to complete. We're playing in about 4 weeks I think.

Battle Report to come!

Another reason not to go into the city...

A guy at work (that actually grew up not far from me in Kentucky) got mugged at gunpoint a block from his apartment in San Francisco last night. He handed everything over quickly and luckily got out unharmed.

Another reason I like living in Livermore :)

Browns Draft...

As a long time Browns fan, the draft is one of those things that I've come to really look forward to. The hope of drafting a guy that's going to turn things around. I even came to call it my Super Bowl each year.

This year things are different. We traded last year's 1st for Brady Quinn and have now traded our 2nd and 3rd rounders to sure up the Defensive front line in trades for Corey Williams and Shaun Rogers. I LOVE these moves...but now the draft is going to be pretty boring for me since we don't even have a pick on the first day!

Trades happen... so things may change. I love the draft regardless of where the Browns pick, but it still won't be the same.

Back from the ill....

I ended up missing 4 days the last 2 weeks with what turned out to be Bronchitis and an ear infection.

Antibiotics are a wonder thing... I feel a ton better now.

Daddy, you saved the day!

Kian has been watching me play Lost Odyssey and I was telling Sarah that after each battle he says: "Daddy, you saved the day!" It makes me laugh and I don't know where he picked up that phrase.

Sarah say: "Kian, you are so cute!"

Kian: "Yeah...I'm SOOOO cute :)"
According to Facebook, these are the top two books in The East Bay:

1
Harry Potter
2
The Bible

Ha! Where i'm from (the bible belt), if you read one of these...you don't likely read the other.
