Simpsons Movie - A+++

Sorry for my lack of posts lately...i'll try to pick up the pace.

Anyway, even though we've been really busy at work trying to final the game... Gracie Films brought up the movie for us to watch it the day before it was released.

Now let me begin by saying that I'm a life long Simpsons fan (and stoked to be working on the game) and was fully prepared for the movie to not be very good since the show has not been to great the last few years.

That said... It was one of the funniest movies i've seen in years. I was truly blown away. I'm sure a lot of my laughter was from being a long time fan of the show, but it was just genuienly funny.

Everyone should see it!
(and buy the game this fall)

I just downloaded the Blue Dragon demo on the 360 and was pretty much blown away.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and it's obvious that this game is from the same creator. My wife was watching me play and she pointed out that even the music is very similar.

Maybe this is the game that will finally sell a few 360 units in Japan.

Big Brain Academy... Wii Degree!

We picked up Wii Degree this weekend and my wife and I have been having a blast playing it.

We've been playing quite a bit lately and just having a blast competing with each other. My wife loves games, but usually not console stuff so much.

I've come to the conclusion now that the Wii is almost entirely not fun when you're alone or tired. I'd love to play more Zelda but the controls tire me. Resident Evil has been pretty good so far and I think I might actually play a lot of that, but it's the exception to the rule.

E3 time again...

E3 time always makes me happy...not going to the conference, but seeing all the blurbs about new games that I can hardly wait to play.

There's actually two...yes TWO...games coming out for the psp that i'm super excited for. Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea. I've not turned on my psp in over a year, i hope it still works.

Along with those...there are no less than a dozen more games that I want so badly this fall and won't have time to play.

I overheard a couple of comments from the worst team in the league recently that made me laugh:

"We're playing the undefeated team?! We're the completely defeated team..."

and my favorite:

"Guys we have a great strategy, just none of us can throw"

behold... ROCK BAND!

So, I've decided to start seriously looking for my first tattoo design. I've narrowed it down to four types...and wondered if anyone wants to comment. I'm thinking i'll get it on my left arm, just below my shoulder.

Cleveland Browns (likely the emblem)
Spider-Man

Retro Gaming (Zelda or Mario probably)

Tolkien / Lord of the Rings (likely elvish inscription)

thoughts? images? :)

EDIT: Click HERE to see the tattoo I chose :)

We've been looking for a new dining room set for a few months now, although not seriously until recently.

We went to Trader Joe's today and there was a furniture store next door having a sale. We went in and found exactly what we had been looking for...for half the cost we had been expecting to spend.

so we ordered it and it should be in next week!
