So, i found a great combo deal on Vista Home Premium, a WD Raptor X 150 hard drive (that i've been wanting for months) and new computer speakers (the wife's died this week)
I spent most of the day installing the new HD and getting Vista up and going. This OS is very sexy looking. It's running great so far and I've found drivers for all of my hardware, except for my keyboard(but they come out in 3 days)
I haven't done much gaming yet with it. That reminds me that I need to get Half Life 2 installing again. Bah, that reminds me that I haven't played Episode 1 yet!
Anyway, It's going well so far... hopefully it stays that way.

We were at Target yesterday and saw that they had the Tiger Woods youth golf clubs on clearance. I picked up the iron for kids under 50" so I can start my son early!

The toilet in our master bathroom recently got a crack all the way down the back part of it. So, instead of waiting for the toilet to explode and put several hundred gallons of water on the floor, i decided to get it replaced.
I called Lowes to see how much it would cost to get a toilet installed... $190! ugh.
So, instead I decided to do it myself!
We headed over to Lowes to pick out the new toilet, then I went to work Saturday afternoon. The afternoon was filled with occasional feelings of: Fear, Uncertainty, Panic, Loathing, Pain, Exhaustion....but eventually Happiness.
It didn't go too badly over all, but I learned a lot since it was my first attempt at installing a toilet. After 5 trips to Lowes(luckily it's 2 miles away) and several hours...it's finished!
It works, and looks good as well.
